She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Bodai (Bertha) and John J. Bodai; and her sister Terry Holloway (Bodai). She is survived by: her brother John Dale Bodai of Saylorsburg, PA; and her children, John Fink of Tampa, Jil Fink-Penrose of Phillipsburg, NJ and Jan Mellon of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's research, honoring Shirley's compassionate spirit and her lifelong dedication to helping others. Shirley's legacy as a caring and independent soul will be remembered by all who knew her, and her contributions to her community will not be forgotten.
