With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Avery of Beach Lake, Pennsylvania, born in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank Avery; her parents, Ralph Lagendoerfer and Jean Lagendoerfer; her children, Andrea Suchter, Terrance Simmons Sr. (Mary) and Michael Simmons (Paula Powlus); her grandchildren, Terrance Simmons, Jr. and Nicole Marie Simmons; her siblings, Ralph Lagendorfer, Nian Cimahosky and Linda Soden; her stepchildren, Sharon Romaniello (Jim), Lyle Avery (Anne), Linda Avery-Snodgrass (John) and Cynthia Freund (Steve); her son Walter Simmons; and her stepdaughter Holly Rose Avery. She was also cherished by step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
