George Pearage Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2025, at the age of 95, George Pearage Jr. of Bear Creek, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pearage and Anna Pearage (Rebovich); his wife Delores Johnson Pearage; his sisters, Eleanor Janiczek and Dorthy Dzuba; and his stepbrother Robert Drotar.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Pearage Scheetz (Jeffrey) of Canandaigua Lake, NY, George R. Pearage (April), Nancy Cebula (Michael) and Kathleen Pearage; his grandchildren, Zachary Scheetz, Brian Scheetz (Stacy), Daniel Cebula, Allison Lisowski (Steven), Kaitlyn Pearage, Kassandra Cebula, Kristi Pearage and Kendall Pearage; his great grandchildren, Logan Scheetz, Reagan Lisowski and Callum Scheetz; and his sister Nancy Kaminski of Mt. Top. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Georgetown Conservation Club, 233 ½ Pulaski St., Wilkes-Barre Twp., PA 18702 or to the Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O. Box 40726, Nashville, TN. 37204.
