He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son Wayne Thayer (Kristin) of Phoenix, AZ; his stepchildren, Tim Gibson (Nancy) of Monument, CO and Tammy Anderson (Chris) of Vandergrift, PA; his grandchildren, Emily, Isabelle Thayer, Jessica Stempert (Christian), Andrew, Mary Beth Gibson, Elora Walsh and Sebastian Robinson; and his siblings, Susan Miller of Pleasanton, CA and Rev. Nelson Thayer (Linda) of Franklin, PA.
