He is survived by: his wife Elaine Mallery Winkle; his daughters, Robin Simpson (Todd) of Latrobe, PA and Holly Trimbur (Thomas) of Murrysville; his grandchildren, Hayley Leach (Samuel) of Latrobe, Reagan Dorazio (Jarrett) of Latrobe, Spencer Simpson of Latrobe, Emma Trimbur (Payne Ruhlman) of Chicago, IL and Annie Trimbur of Pittsburgh; and his great grandchildren, Elaina and Eden Leach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Chippewa United Methodist Church.
