She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean L. Sr. Minerd and Della Minerd (Paci); her husband Louis "Steve" Szopo; and her siblings, Dean "Bud" Minerd, Jr. and Louise Salko.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Kittner, Robert Szopo (Janet) and Thomas Szopo; her grandchildren, Kylee Thompson (Ryan), Joseph Kittner (Stephanie), Jenna Soder (Eric), Louis II, Bradley Szopo, Natalee Schuman (Robert) and Sydney Szopo (Nick); her great grandchildren, Noelle, Sophia, Ridge, Eli, Finley, Ella, Kayden and Robert; her brother Bill Sr. Minerd (Kay); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Shimet, Esther Huffman, Julia Blasoile, Mary Phillips (Jim), Barbara Moore, Rose Custer (Bruce) and John Szopo (Jackie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
