He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Yonkee (Stengel) and Emil Yonkee; his brother Harold; and his wife Irene Yonkee. He is survived by: his children, Eric (Dawn) of Tampa, FL, Dirk (Amy) of Culpeper and Megan (Robert Beck) of Port Matilda, PA.; his grandchildren, Erin Mona (Richard) of Tampa, FL, Brett Smith (Jason) of Tampa, FL, Cole Yonkee (Lexi) of Tampa, FL, Justin Beck of Austin, TX and Trevor Beck (Tamar) of State College, PA.; and his great grandchildren, Elodie of Tampa, FL., Charles Mona of Tampa, FL., Adeline Yonkee of Tampa, FL. and Kieran Yonkee.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to local sports, education, and community leadership, Ken was deeply honored to be inducted into the Larry Bruno Foundation Hall of Achievement in Western Pennsylvania.
