He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ortinberg and Rae Ortinberg (Wiseman); his wife Myrna Ortinberg; his son Steven Ortinberg; and his sister Mollie Levenson.
He is survived by: his son Larry Ortinberg of Beaver Falls; his niece Susan Goldman (Mark) of Franklin Park; and his sisters-in-law, Fern Faigen of Pittsburgh and Natalie Phillips of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
