He was predeceased by: his parents, Mendel Murphy and Virginia Murphy (Lee); his daughter Beth Anne Chinn; his sister-in-law Nancy Murphy; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Murphy (Snyder); his children, Kimberley Phillips, Mendel "Brian" Murphy (Heather Metheny) and Glenn Murphy; his grandchildren, Ariel Murphy, Paul Solano, Victoria Cider, Brienna Phillips, Cherish Cobert and Christopher Murphy; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Sopko and Gary Phillips, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Joey, Luke and Eli; his brother Lee Murphy; and his daughter-in-law Tina Marie Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
