He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Dawson and Mary Dawson; his siblings, Frederick, Lloyd Dawson, Bernice Dawson, Hazel Givens and Janet Petz; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Givens, Patrick Lomagro and Bonnie Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Karlberg Dawson; his children, D. Wayne Dawson (Lynn), Carl M. Dawson (Tawny) and Amy L. Collins (Regis); his siblings, Robert Dawson (Virginia) and Linda Lomagro; his sisters-in-law, Martha Dawson and Anna Stockett; his grandchildren, Tyler Manuel, Lindsey Patterson, Sydney Kleiber and Braydon Dawson; and his great grandchildren, Abriella, Bryson, Carter, Deryk, Ellienna, Charlotte, Oliver and Evelynn.
