She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward P. Eckroate and Marie C. Eckroate (Willenbacher); her husband Joseph; her sisters, Mary Augusta and Phyllis; her brother-in-law John Majcher; her sister Shirley; her siblings-in-law, Edward Grundza and Yvonne Eckroate; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Zagorski.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph M. Zagorski, James Zagorski (Rose Mary), Paula Miller (Stephen), Keith Zagorski (Liz), Jon Zagorski (Cindy) and Aimee Palakovich (Frank); her grandchildren, Tricia Holland (Ben), Mike Zagorski (Lydia), Emily Morelli (Nick), Ryan (Bekah), Chelsea Zagorski, Katie Miller, Megan Zagorski, Breanna, Kayleigh Zagorski, Jessica McKenna (David) and Sydney Palakovich; her brother Edward Eckroate of Montgomery, AL; and her sister-in-law Veronica Stante of Tampa Bay, FL. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Valley Parish (333 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Beaver Area Memorial Library or Our Lady of the Valley (St. Vincent DePaul) Food Pantry in memory of Dorothy.
