He is survived by: his wife Maryetta June Baker Shiring; his sons, Daniel Baker Shiring (Mary Lou) of Canton, OH, Martin Paul Shiring Jr. (Carrie) and Steven Patrick Shiring (Kelly) of Glastonbury, CT; his son-in-law Jeffrey Kovalesky of Collegeville, PA; his grandchildren, Zachary Shiring (Annette), Stephanie Rudder (Kevin), Kristen McGraw (Ben), Brian Shiring, Kyle Shiring (Mary Kate), Sarah Kovalesky, Emily Birch (Sam), Ryan Shiring (Katelyn), Patrick Shiring (Kelly Frank), Maura Shiring and Megan Shiring; and his great grandchildren, Charles Shiring, Elena Shiring, Melody McGraw, David Shiring, Emma Shiring and Sophie Shiring. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
