He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Knause and Mathilda Stewart (Smith); his grandson Chase Gato; and his siblings, Carl Knause, Jr. and Dolly Kemena.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Knause (Reed); his children, Justin Knause, Jamie Gato, Jesse Knause, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Griffin (Nicolas), Jordan Knause and Jocelyn Knause; his grandchildren, Jaden Gato, Jackson Gato, Julianna Gato, Tyler Griffin and Riley Griffin; and his siblings, Johnny Smith, George Knause, Robert Knause (Debbie) and Sandy Parker (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gabauer-Todd Funeral and Cremation Services (340 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gabauer-Todd Funeral Home & Cremation Services (340 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009).
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
