He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Chapla and Mary Palguta Chapla; and his brothers, Leonard and James Chapla. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Harsh (Brian) and Lorraine Small (Jeff); his grandchildren, Allison (Andy), Alex, Shannon (Tim) and Sara (Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Luke and Colby; his sisters, Marilyn Chapla (Jan) and Arlene Wrobleski (Joe); and his nephews, Kevin and Jon Wrobleski.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gabauer-Todd Funeral Home (340 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Todd Funeral Home, Inc. (340 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Church (200 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Beaver Cemetery. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a donation would honor his memory and he'd probably think "that's pretty cool".
