He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gavert and Margaret Gavert; his daughter Kathryn Gavert; and his sister Jane Duffett. He is survived by: his wife Rita Jay Gavert; his daughter Judy Coffey (Blaine); his grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick Ragazzini, Brittney Potts (Adam) and Alexis Kelley (Patrick); and his great grandchildren, James, Luke Potts and Sloane Kelley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Roy's name may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Ave., Beaver, PA 15009.
