It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry L. Poppenger (Beaver, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hall and Etta Hall (Ritenour); her stepson Ray Poppenger, Jr.; and her sister Lynn Long. She is survived by: her husband Ray Poppenger, Sr.; her children, Tammy Forrest (Rob), Tomie Kalinowski (Brian) and Josh Kovacick (Dawn); her grandchildren, Shyanne Hooper (Brandin), Kaden Kalinowski and Connor Kalinowski; her siblings, Debbie Johnston (Dave), Vicki Hall, Allen Hall, Carl Hall (Bev) and Christina Hall; her brother-in-law Albert Long; her nieces, Kayla Long and Angel Pratt; and her pet Noel. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to Samaritan's Purse-International Relief, PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607.
