John Makosky Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 90, John Makosky of Beaverdale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Makosky and Mary Makosky (Federisko); his wife Madeliene Westover; his son-in-law David G. Bridge; and his siblings, Joseph, Michael and Helen Saintz.
He is survived by: his children, Antoinette M. Bridge of Beaverdale and John G. Makosky (Lori Adams) of Sidman; his grandchildren, Kaitlin T. Smith (Chad), Jordan D. Bridge and Kylie R. Bridge (Alex Sommers); and his siblings, Paul Makosky (Gloria) of Portage, Charles Makosky (Patricia) of Portage, Ann Bridge of Portage and Mary Schaeffer of Macombe, MI.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home (630 Cedar St, Beaverdale, PA 15921). A committal service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1530 Frankstown Rd, Johnstown, PA 15902).
