She was predeceased by: her parents, John Markel and Anna Markel (Heintzelman); her husband Daniel Rigel; her son Bill Rigel; her daughter-in-law Kim Rigel; and her siblings, Herman Markel, Harold Markel and Harriet Wetzel.
She is survived by: her children, Linda R. Cole, Tom Rigel (Kelly) and Dan Rigel (Kelly); her stepdaughter Sally Martin (Barry); her grandchildren, Nathan Rigel (Lisa Wong), Kristen Williams (Rick) and Heather Martin (Steve Garcia); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Macy Williams, Kieran and Caleb Wong-Rigel.
