We announce the death of Karen Stoneroad of Beavertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 64. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Stoneroad and Esther Stoneroad (Lauver); her brothers, Robert and William; her brother-in-law Jesse Zerbe; and her nephews, David Stefanovige and Mark Stoneroad.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Shope Jr. (Cowboy); her sisters, Sandra Stefanovige (Glenn) and Dorothy Zerbe; her nieces and nephews, Teresa Keiser (Ken), Consuelo Wertz Webb (Preston), Brad Stoneroad and Andrew Wertz (Sharon Speece); her grandchildren, Dylan, Kayla, Paige Wertz, Brittany Stump, Kylee Webb, Dwayne Keiser, Daisy Haines and Chance Stoneroad; her aunt Shirley Jones; and her stepdaughter Stacey Losell.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Hummel Funeral Home (574 Hill St, Middleburg, PA 17842).
