She was predeceased by : her parents, Milton Britain and Gertrude Mary Noonen (Young); her husband John W. "Jack" Emery; her granddaughter Michelle Long; and her siblings, Rilla Davis, Mary Ellen Hall and Milton "Bud" Noonen.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Emery of Altoona and John Emery (Tracey) of Hainesport, NJ; her grandchildren, Kristin Long, Colin Emery, Ava Emery and Zoe Emery; her great grandchild Anthony Eberhart; and her sister Patricia Waddingham of Titusville. She is also survived by mother who dearly loved her children, grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

Barbara enjoyed volunteering with the Bedford Sportsman's Club, RSVP, Bedford Moose Lodge, and the American Red Cross Blood Drives.
