He was predeceased by: his parents, David Gardner and Ethel Mae Gardner (Keller); his wife JoAnne Gardner (Naylor); his daughter Leigh Ann Gardner; and his siblings, Mary Morgan, Joyce Shull, Carol Kilgore, James, Fred and Stanley Gardner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Houck (Stanley) and Laurie Dudley (Michael); his nephew Larry Gardner of Bedford; and his niece Pam Miller of Bedford. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
