It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Hammond of Bedford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Grover and Lillian Irene Hammond (Smith); her brother Richard Hammond; and her great-nephew Brandyn Hammond. She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, John Hammond (Peggy) of Bedford, Alan Hammond (Susan) of Bedford, Debra Stewart (Robert) of Leola and Cheryl Drozynski (Joseph) of Mechanicsburg; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Beth Ann Schnieder, Kelcy Shaffer, Kaleb Hammond, Jason Stewart, Sarah Montague, Matthew Drozynski and Sean Drozynski; and her sister-in-law Pearl Hammond of Bedford. She is also survived by her family, friends, and her wonderful caregivers.

“So sorry to hear about Joanne's passing. She had purchased Avon from me. Joanne liked to order her watches, which she liked to collect. She was a very nice lady and I'm going to miss talking to her on the phone. And going to her house with Avon. In our prayers, Kay and Rodney McClain.”
