He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Zembower and Anna Jean Zembower (Diehl) of Bedford Valley; and his former wife Linda Leydig. He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Whitfield); his daughter Misti Williams (Ron) of Cumberland, MD; his stepdaughter Hughes (Matthew) of Arlington, VA.; his grandchildren, Makenna Grace Williams of Cumberland, MD and Riley Blake Williams of Cumberland, MD; his stepgrandchild Regan Anne Hughes of Arlington, VA.; his great grandchild Maevyn Shea Williams; and his brother James Ewing Zembower (Kay) of Bedford Valley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Berkebile Funeral Home (214 S Juliana St, Bedford, PA 15522). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in John's name may be made to the Bedford County Fair, P.O. Box 244, Bedford, PA 15522.
