He is survived by: his wife Barb McKenzie Whitacre (Horton Lewis); his children, Larry Whitacre, Jr. (Judy), Kim Fadeley (Darren), Lance Whitacre (Brenda) and Korissa Cobbett (Paul); his stepson Brent McKenzie (Michelle); his stepdaughter-in-law Susan McKenzie; his siblings, Galen Whitacre (Marjorie), Daryle Whitacre (Mary Jo), Raymond Whitacre (Trudy) and Billie Day (Jim); and his sister-in-law Alice Zembower. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
