It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona G. Hillegass of Bedford, Pennsylvania, born in Everett, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Clark and Myrtle Clark (Layton); her husband Earl Lowe; her former life partner Eugene Greenawalt; her daughters, Sharon Lowe and Karen M. Nicholsn; and her sisters, Lavene and Rosenannbaug.

She is survived by : her children, Linda (Kyle Dickens) of Manchester, MD., John R. (Shirley), James E. (Kathleen), George A. (Donna), Debra (John Clark) and David (Cara). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
