Margaret K. DeArment Obituary

We announce the death of Margaret K. DeArment (Bedford, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 93. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy V. Koontz and Daisy Koontz (Nevitt); her husband Donald W. DeArment; and her sisters, Mildred Koontz and Florence Ritchey.

She is survived by: her son Daniel DeArment (Rena DeArment) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Elise DeArment of Boston and Evan DeArment of Pittsburgh; and her nieces, Linda Shaub and Debra Koontz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home Inc. (214 S Juliana St, Bedford, PA 15522). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
