She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kanode and Anna Kanode (Ginder); and her siblings, Paul, Irvin, Esther, Amos, Anna, Ruth, Barbara, John and Earl.
She is survived by: her husband James Hostetter; her children, Edwin (Christine), Renata (Walter), Kathryn (Shannon) and Brian (Robin); and her brother Isaac. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church (2035 Winding Ridge Rd, Everett, PA 15537). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cross Roads Cemetery (800 Donegal Springs Rd, Mount Joy, PA 17552).
