The passing of Samuel L. Blackburn Sr. of Bedford, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Blackburn and Alma Blackburn (Imler); and his siblings, Jim, Joe, Tom Blackburn and Orpha Klotz.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Blackburn (Whysong); and his children, Jeffrey W. Blackburn (Lynn) of Everett, Samuel L. Blackburn Jr. (Mary) of Schellsburg and Pamela L. Bothell (J. R.) of Mercersburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berkebile Funeral Home (214 S Juliana St, Bedford, PA 15522). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
