He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen J. Bacon and Marguerite Bacon (Shull); his son Scott K. "Scotty" Bacon II; his brother Todd Bacon; and his parents-in-law, John "Mousy" and Marion Streletz.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia A. Bacon (Streletz); his daughter Robin L. Schrock (Barrett) of Bedford; his grandsons, Owen, Benjamin and Griffin Scott; and his brother Bradley Bacon of St Michael. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
