He was predeceased by: his parents, Commodore Gusta and Ella Pearl May (Perrin); his brothers, Edward C. May and Tracy Lee May; and his half-siblings, Dr. Homer May, Lillian Snell and Susan Clapper.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pearl Hammond (late Richard) of Bedford, Charles H. May (Janet) of Bedford and John A. May of Bedford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
