He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hixon and Virginia Shives Ostovitz. He is survived by: his wife Shirely Hixon; his children, David W. Hixon (Laurie) of Harrisburg and Rev. Tammy L. Adamo (Tony) of Slatington; his half-siblings, John Leonard Pearce of Maryland and Joy Minns of Vermont; and his brother Lowell Hixon of Maryland. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church (217 Main St, Beech Creek, PA 16822). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
