She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Guthrie and Hazel Guthrie; her husband Charles Wilbert Patterson; her children, Lyric Darlene Derrickson and Charles Andrew Patterson; and her siblings, Nellie Nolle, Marlene Higginbotham, Charles Guthrie, Jerry Guthrie and Dennis Guthrie.
She is survived by: her son Randall James Patterson (Michele); her grandchildren, Robert Derrickson, Brian Derrickson, Joseph Patterson, Dawn Marie Fess, Renee Bailey, Jamie Patterson, Emily Patterson and Elizabeth Patterson; and her son-in-law Robert Derrickson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
