She was predeceased by: her father Emmanuel Kaites; her husband Jim; and her siblings, Mary Kaites-Laskey, Peter E. Kaites and John E. Kaites.
She is survived by: her parent Domna Kaites (Morphidis); her children, George Drizos (Betsy) of Macungie, PA, Diane Marasti (Robert) of Mt. Lebanon, PA, James Drizos (Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC and Christina Drizos (Richard Depew) of Penn Hills, PA.; her grandchildren, Kate D. Cavell of Newton, MA, James Marasti of Lawrenceville, PA and Rob Marasti (Janel) of Mt. Lebanon, PA; and her great grandchild Jade Calia Marasti of Mt. Lebanon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at 117 St Spyridon Ln, Monessen, PA 15062.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial contributions be made in Jean's honor to either the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 117 St Spyridon Ln, Monessen, PA 15062, or The Rostraver Public Library, 700 Plaza Dr N, Belle Vernon, PA 15012.
