It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Kerestan (Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania), born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John "Longy" and Marie Kerestan; his wife Donna Pinto Kerestan; his children, Mark (Pilar Kerestan) of Greensburg, PA and Dr. Kristine Garbig (Douglas Garbig) of Wilder, KY; his grandsons, Gregory, Benjamin Kerestan, Nathan and Christopher Garbig; and his sisters, Dorothy McCoy of Rockwood and Marie "Dolly" Demczyk. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of John Kerestan to to OSPTA Hospice special need funds, Rt 51 office, Belle Vernon or to St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon.
