Thal of Philipsburg; his stepdaughter Heather Haines (Charles) of DuBois; and his grandchildren, Tyler Bartley (Adalynn), Brooke Kougher (Bruce), Sara Hummel (Cory), Elizabeth Linn, Andrea Linn (David Schatz), Kylie Thal (Ryan Starvaggi) and Kylee Albright (David). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
