Anna B. Naylor Obituary

Anna B. Naylor (Ann), 89, of Bellefonte, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was born October 17, 1933 in Peters Township, PA, the daughter of the late Guy B. Simpson and Rachel D. (Hast) Simpson. She married James H. Naylor (Jim) on May 24, 1951. They were married for 53 years until his death in 2004.

During her 50 years of living in Bellefonte, Ann was active with a few small groups of friends. She and her long-term friends enjoyed bowling and socializing. Most recently she was fortunate to develop new friendships at the Grayston Court Villas where she was active playing cards and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her five children: Sonia Hackett (Ron) of Niagara Falls, NY; J. Eric Naylor (Romayne) of Bellefonte, PA; Keith Naylor (Teresa) of Ransomville, NY; Mark Naylor (Brenda) of State College, PA; and Todd Naylor (Cherie) of Bellefonte, PA. She enjoyed her 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers; Chuck Simpson, Glenn Simpson, Don Simpson and Ken Simpson and one sister Marty Holmes.

Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, PA. Public visitation will be on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Services will begin at noon at the funeral home with Mr. Steven Bainbridge officiating, followed by graveside services at approximately 1:00 p.m. at Zion Cemetery in Zion, PA.
