He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Schrope and Grace T. Schrope (Shomper); his wife Doris M. Klinger; and his sisters, Shirley Leuschner, Sylvia Eisenacher and Martha Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Hanslovan (Jerry) of Camp Hill and Charles W. Schrope, Jr. (Becky) of Snow Shoe; his grandchildren, Charles J. Schrope (Julie) of Vista, CA, Abigail G. Lowry (Sherman) of Lewistown, Timothy A. Ray (Sarah) of Port Matilda, Carl Gemmati (Laura) of Bellefonte, Jason Hanslovan (Jenny) of Sterling, VA and Ryan Hanslovan (Amanda) of Philipsburg; his great grandchildren, Emilie, Jaynie, William, Jordan, Armor, Gene, Dominic, Kamdyn, Emmalynn, Sherman, Levi and Bella; and his friend Shirley Lucas of Pleasant Gap.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (128 W Howard St, Bellefonte, PA 16823).
