We are sad to announce that, on March 29, 2026, at the age of 89, Gladys Waite Hartle Houser (Bellefonte, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Waite and Margaret Brown Waite; and her sister Lois Ann Sims. She is survived by: her children, Linda Clapper (William), Janet Hartle (David Wiegand), Thomas Hartle (Lori), Deborah Fedore (John) and Betsy Hoffman; her husband Jay Houser; her stepchildren, Mary Ellen Storm (Craig), Sandra Haagen (Stephen), Karen Auman (Benjamin), Barbara Kerstetter and James Houser (Teresa); and her stepbrother David Houser. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
