She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Keeler and Merle Keeler (Immel); her husband Walter Shay, Sr.; her son Walter L. Shay, Jr.; and her siblings, Jane Keeler, Bill and Pauly Keeler.
She is survived by: her sister Louise Carter of Bellevue Nebraska; her stepson John Hinds of Bellefonte, PA; her daughter-in-law Lorna Shay of Bellefonte; her grandchildren, Gregory Shay of Spring Mills, Shannon Shay (Angel) of Bellefonte, Charlene Shay (Joseph) of Bellefonte and Megan Gates (Craig) of Spring Mills; her great grandchildren, Summer and Shannon; and her great great grandchildren, Darrian, Hayden and Deagen.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. (206 N Spring St, Bellefonte, PA 16823). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
