He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Fitzgerald and Florence Fitzgerald (Lucas); his son Kenneth "Matt" Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Raymond Fitzgerald, Nancy Fitzgerald and Leonore Shirk.
He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Fye; his daughters, Regina Bowers (Ken) of Julian, Cinnamon Hosterman (Michael) of Orrtanna and Shannon Dennison (James) of Waynesboro; and his grandchildren, Sean (Stacy), Kayla Hosterman, Willow, Ava and Owen Dennison.
