It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Godfrey of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania is shared. Robert, born on December 29, 1951, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Godfrey and Kathryn Godfrey (Burns); and his siblings, Eileen Ela and William Godfrey. He is survived by: his significant other Donald Staley of Bellefonte. He is also survived by his uncle, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the F. G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA in memory of Bob Godfrey.
