She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Kanagy and Katie A. Kanagy (Peachey); and her sister Linda Peachey. She is survived by: her husband John J. Byler; her children, Anna Mary Zook (Thomas L.), Joseph Byler (Linda), Crist Byler (Tena), Emanuel Byler (Martha), John Byler (Salinda) of Belleville, Linda Zook (Benjamin) of Belleville, Benuel Byler (Julia) and Jacob Byler (Maryann) of Belleville; her siblings, David Kanagy (Ella), Israel Kanagy (Annie), Ella Peachey (Jonas) of Belleville, Gideon Kanagy (Katie) of Allensville, Ada Peachey (Jacob), Barbara Zook (Mark) and Henry Kanagy (Nancy); and her brother-in-law Elias Peachey (Lydia) of Belleville. She is also survived by 46 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ben Zook Residence (299 Lewistown Rd, Belleville, PA 17004). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
