He is survived by: his wife Carol E. Hannon (Saylor); his sister Eleanor Anderson (Dean); his children, David J. Hannon (Rebecca), Beth C. Walton, Stephen P. Hannon (Laura) and Benjamin R. Hannon; and his grandchildren, Eric Hannon, Hannah Krepps (Destry), Melody Hannon, Richard Walton, Lydia Walton (Dawn), Rose Herrick (Charles) and Grace Hannon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James's memory may be made to Valley View Retirement Community Benevolent Fund.
