He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel and Shultz; his uncle Carney; his wife Karen Powers (Foster); his children, Brian Powers (Stacey), Jen Powers and Lauren Powers (Brennan Reilly); his stepchildren, Joseph Nicholas (Janelle), Joshua Nicholas (Katie) and Amanda Salem (Sean); his grandchildren, Julia, Amelia, Maelynn, Madison, Danyel, Devan, Lyla, Andi, Owen and Douglas; and his siblings, Ron Powers (Bev), Phyllis Kraus (late Glenn), Noreen Black (Steve), Kathy Powers and Denise Murray. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, 1 great-great-nephew.
