He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses G Miller and Mae Louise Miller (Glenn); his sister Linda Kimmen; his sons, Byron, Douglass and Stephen Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Shaffer, Dennis Berkstresser and John "Jack" Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Burns; his children, Scott Miller (Trish) of Bellwood and Marilyn Peterson (James) of State College; his daughters-in-law, Melissa Miller and Irina Miller; his siblings-in-law, Jean Berkstresser of Cary, NC and George Kimmen of Port Orange, FL; and his friend Lynn Gault. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
