He was predeceased by: his parents, Budd Owen and Hannah Owen (McConnell); his wife Mary J. Vrabel; his siblings, Thomas Owen and Emily Libby; and his sons-in-law, James Kapfhammer and Donald Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Lee E. Owen, II of Bellwood, Susan A. Kapfhammer of Dysart, Mary G. Walker (Robert) of Antis Township and Anne J. Revitsky (Dave) of Butler. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in his memory be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellwood; or Bellwood-Antis Public Library.
