He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Forest and Helen Laura Harriger (Sedwick). He is survived by: his children, Richard Harriger (Lynn), Vicki Stophel (Don), Eric Harriger (Vicki), Linda Lindrose (James) and Stephen Harriger (Alberta); his wife Carol Ann; and his pet Fritz. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren.
