She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Lee and Frankie Lee; and her siblings, Ronald, David and Faye.

She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, Shelia Howard, Talisha Hess (Theodore) and Jack Howard (Melissa); her grandchildren, Terrel Roane, Jordan Hess (Katie), Ashley Bower (Joshua), Gianna Howard and Sophia Howard; her great grandchildren, Marleigh, Jason and Cedric; and her siblings, Kathy Robinson (Alford), Helen Evans, Thelma Stovall, John Hollinsworth, James Jackson and Duan Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that plants be sent for her service.
