He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel E. Melton, and Melvin T. Melton, Sr.; and his siblings, Timothy Melton and Teresa Costas. He is survived by : his daughters, Monica and Monique Melton; the mother of his children Beth White; his grandchildren, Kayla Perry, Arya and Tyler Roethlein; and his siblings, Melvine Wells (LaMont), Tina Marie Taylor (James), Marvin Melton, Andre Melton, Cameron Melton and Kia Moten (Malak). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home (2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
