He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mullin and Katherine Ryan Mullin; his wife Margaret Joan (Smith); his son Paul T. Mullin; and his brother James J. Mullin.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Mullin, Denise Dowling (John), Thomas Mullin, Sr. (Adele) and James Mullin (Frank); and his grandchildren, John Paul (Sarah), Christopher, Katelyn (Joseph), Thomas Jr., Michael and Matthew.
